IGLOO FOLK ART BIRDHOUSE
The Igloo Birdhouse was another step up from the "all stone" birdhouses. I had a wild Idea to make a round birdhouse. I added boarded up windows and doors and Pam made the "Gone South for the Winter" sign that hangs above the door. I added rusty tin shingles that I made from some tin I found near an abandoned mine in Utah. The Shale stone came from American Fork, Utah. I never really like this particular house; but am really surprised at how many people say they do; although I have not been asked to build another one for anyone, yet! This is another birdhouse that my wife, Pam, skillfully uses in decorating our country home. Contact us if you have an interest in any of these older models.
